What makes a reel count.
Your reel must
Qualifies- Is 30 to 90 seconds long and shot vertically (9:16).01
- Speaks to one Talkathon theme — Traffic, Garbage or Food Safety.02
- Invites viewers to take part in Talkathon and register.03
- Is your own original idea, filmed by you or your team.04
- Uses #BengaluruTalkathon and tags @BangaloreTalkathon in the caption.05
- Mentions your name and category (student, resident, employee…) in the caption.06
- Is posted from a public account and stays public until results are announced.07
- Is in Kannada, English or Hindi — subtitles are welcome.08
Reported or disqualified
Rejected- Copied, re-uploaded or plagiarised content.01
- Music, clips or images used without the rights to them.02
- Hate speech, abuse, vulgarity or content targeting any person or community.03
- Political party, religious or commercial promotion.04
- Fake, misleading or AI-generated content that impersonates real people.05
- Filming people — especially children — without their consent.06
- Unsafe stunts or breaking traffic rules while filming.07
- Bought likes, views or followers, or any other engagement manipulation.08
